The centrally located and beautiful Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area is the ideal location for this year’s USS Lindenwald Reunion.  The reunion program will give you the opportunity to experience the best this area has to offer.   You will also have a wonderful evening out with your friends and family at America’s first authentic Hofbrauhaus, the only one located outside of Munich. The City Tour will provide a wonderful overview of the area and will include a visit to the Cincinnati History Museum located in the historic train station; the museum has a fabulous WWII exhibit showcasing daily home life that will surely bring back memories of ration books and other war time issues. This will surely be another great reunion so book early!

 

 

Hotel Information

 

The reunion officially runs from Thursday, September 18th through Sunday, September 21st. You will be staying at the full service Drawbridge Inn which is located at 2477 Royal Drive, Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky 41017-3599.   The Drawbridge Inn is convenient to the excitement of the Kentucky/Ohio Riverfront and to many attractions in the area, including Newport on the Levee. Golf and shopping opportunities are abundant and the Southbank Shuttle makes it quite easy to get around Northern Kentucky and downtown Cincinnati. Reservation Information

 

The room rate is just $93.00, plus tax per night.  The rate includes complimentary breakfast daily, and you will receive a special 10% discount on food in the hotel restaurant.  For those of you who choose to arrive early or stay late, the same room rate is available three days prior and three days after, based on availability.   Please make your hotel reservations NOW by calling the hotels directly at the following toll free number 800-354-9793.  You may request specific room types when you call to make your reservations (handicap accessible room, etc.). The hotel check-in time is 3:00pm.  Please, do not expect to get into your room before then.  Make your reservations NOW, you may cancel your hotel room up to 24 hours and not be charged.  Be sure to ask for the USS Lindenwald Reunion rate.  They will ask you for a deposit or credit card number to guarantee your room reservation. The hotel is holding rooms until they sell out or August 18, 2008, whichever comes first.

 

 

Airport Transportation & Parking

 

Please note the hotel is actually located in Fort Mitchell, KY but if you are flying, Cincinnati Airport (CVG) is the closest.  The Drawbridge offers a complimentary airport shuttle (call using the free courtesy phone in the Baggage Claim area before you pick up your luggage) if you are flying to the reunion and for those of you driving, the hotel offers plenty of free parking.  The hotel is conveniently located at exit 186 off Interstate 75.
